This is the 24th Annual quilt show held at this 19th century church overlooking the Connecticut River. There will be more than 100 quilts displayed in the church and adjacent Sunday school building, which once was a one room school house. In addition to the quilts there will be a tea room, a quilt vendor and raffle. Haddam Neck is located off route 151 and there will be signs to the church, which is located on Quarry Hill Rd.

The show features ~200 quilts, both judged and displayed. Our raffle quilt is the beautiful pieced and appliqued Batik Beauty. Many vendors will be present including the guild's popular sewing and quilting boutique. Free demonstrations will take place daily. Quilt appraisals will also be available. As always, parking is free (plenty of room for buses) and food is available.

Barbara Chojnacki will demonstrate how to make Japanese fabric flowers Sat. at 11am. And Susan Varanka will demonstrate hand quilting on Sun. from 1-3pm. The Farmington Valley Quilt Guild is hosting their biannual quilt show featuring over 200 quilts. On display are Traditional, Modern and Art quilts and this year we are highlighting a display of Quilts of Valor. A beautiful full-size quilt is being raffled in addition to 12 baskets of various themes brimming with treasures for quilters and non-quilters. AOS Certified Appraiser Lois Palmer will be onsite during the show to appraise quilts. Appointments for appraisals are recommended but walk-in will be accommodated as time allows.
