Greetings folks, and welcome to the home of the Siskiyou Strings and Threads Bluegrass Festival! Never heard of this event? Well that?s because 2014 will be the kick-off year for this great new event. Although this is listed as a bluegrass festival, it is going to be much more than that. Yes, you will be treated to three days of wonderful bluegrass music, but there will be many more activities as well. Do you enjoy quilting or sewing? If so, you?re in luck, because there will be a great big air conditioned building for you to set up your equipment and work on projects all week. How about square dancing?like that? Good, because we?ll have two evenings of dancing after the stage shows are over where the entire family can get involved. Our goal for this festival is to create a week long family camp out and picnic music event. That being the case, we will be offering a pancake breakfast on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings (donations gladly accepted). On Wednesday afternoon we will be having a corn on the cob feed, and on Thursday evening we?ll have a campground wide pot luck dinner. Well also have games and workshops.
