Spend an enchanting weekend with our stellar instructor line-up and learn more about knitting, crocheting, and weaving as you experience the landscape and hospitality of New Mexico. The fun begins on Thursday evening. Plan to arrive in time for the 8 pm get-together. Classes meet from 9 to 12 and 1 to 4 on Friday and Sunday and from 9 to 12 on Saturday. You will create a scarf or fabric as you learn the specifics and refinements of hand-weaving. Denise Bell gives you a new perspective on lace in Heritage Shetland shawls. Learn to knit your next shawl the traditional way?from the edging to the center. Rick Mondragon encourages your creativity as his Mixed-media design lab helps create items as unique and personal as you desire. Anna Zilboorg takes you step by step through the process of making the Trillium Vest from Splendid Apparel. It mixes panels of color, traveling stitches, and embroidery for A splendid knitted vest. ?The Camp was amazing. I had no idea what to expect, but I must say Camp STITCHES exceeded anything I could have imagined.? ?Laurel Stillman ??WHEEEE! I?m finally here!!!? That?s all that needs to be said about the Camps.
