We are a group of about 30 full-time and seasonal members with all levels of expertise, from novice to advanced, who love to get together once a week, share our talents and learn from each other! Dues are currently $20/yr. We gather for lunch at 11:30 every Thursday at a local restaurant (schedule on the website) and adjourn to our meeting place until 2 pm or whenever. Planned activities include various workshops presented by outside experts or our own members, field trips, and making flannel lap blankets for the home-bound in Jackson County. When we don't have a planned activity, we bring our own handwork to work on and to share and we visit! Individual members participate in church-sponsored prayer blanket ministries and other community-based activities. We sponsor a show during the October Fall Leaf Festival that has featured our members' creations, a boutique and a bake sale. Guests are always welcome!
