The Charlotte Quilters' Guild is a large, diverse group of quilters who are passionate about every kind of quilting from traditional/historical through modern improv and art collage, and everything in between. All kinds of quilting and all kinds of quilters are welcome! We meet from 6:30 to 8:30 PM on the first Wednesday of each month (except July). Members and guests have the option of gathering in-person at the Tyvola Senior Center at 2225 Tyvola Rd in Charlotte NC, but all of our meetings and many of our workshops are also accessible from anywhere via Zoom. Monthly programs and workshops are listed on the "Education/Programs" tab on our website. In additions to meetings, speakers and workshops, the CQG does extensive charity quilting, hosts social Sit & Sew (from 10 AM to 3 PM on the 3rd Saturday of each month at Southminster), and works to foster awareness and appreciation of the art and craft of quilt making in our community.
