The Pensacola Quilters Guild was established in 1983. Our mission is to stimulate interest in quilts and advance the art of quilt making. We provide educational programs in design and technique involved in creating quilts. We have a very active Community Quilt outreach program. Members check out precut tops to piece, tops with backing, batting and to binding to put together. We make pillowcases to give to Sheriffs who have to separate children from their families, so they don't have to put their belonging in a black trash bag. We meet every month in the fourth week on Tuesday's from 6 pm to 8 p.m. doors open at 5:30 for socializing. On the fourth Thursday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Doors open at 9:00 for socializing and member activities as needed.
