This unique tour will allow participatns the opportunity to view one-of-a-kind quilts from past and present while traveling to 6 different locations within our community. This excursion will bring back memories from the past while visiting Anderson Farm, our heritage location. Meadowbrooke Village, our local retirement village, will not only have an exciting display but will also be serving tasty refreshments. Touring a country home, that, weather permitting, will also feature an outdoor display, will add to the warmth of your travels and viewing the display of quilts in a modern home will prove just how these masterpieces can fit into any décor. The chirldren at Walden Day care will be showing how our youngest citizens are being taught to carry on this tradition by displaying their own quilted treasures at their beautiful log cabin facility. And finally dropping into the Water's Women's Institute to view quilts created locally will help to "sew up" this fundraising excursion.
