Founded in 1988, the Courthouse Qulters is dedicated to the preservation of quilting heritage through education and fellowship. The guild is comprised of members primarily from New Jersey and Pennsylvania, who range from beginners to national contest winners. We meet 12 times a year on the third Sunday of the month, except for June (Father's Day), meeting is moved to next Sunday. Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. in. We meet at Hunterdon County Complex, 314 State Rte. 12, Flemington,NJ. Meetings include a discussion of guild business, refreshments and socializing, show-and-tell and a program, often a lecture and trunk show by a noted quilt expert. In addition, the guild offers several daytime workshops each year, led by local or nationally recognized instructors or experienced guild members. We also host a biennial quilt show in the historic setting of Prallsville Mills on Route 29 in Stockton, New Jersey.
